musht
Usual plug in monitor thing, reckon on it reading out quite a lot with switch mode power supplies but at £6.99 a deal# Functions:# - Voltage# - Strength of the electric current# - Watt# - Maximum power# - Energy consumption in kWh# - Cost# Includes battery http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pages/c....gy_Monitor.ar11
peternewman
Had a play with one of these over the summer, comparing it to a "proper" multimeter. It did okay, the voltage reading was reasonably accurate (perhaps 5v out, I can't really remember), but for the price and ease of use you can't really complain. Sully
I bought one of these last time they were on offer and it works well. The only minor problem I found with it is the button cells didn't last very but since these are only needed to maintain the clock and unit cost it's not too important.Very useful for working out how much things cost to run if they're left running over time and you can't argue with the price. Well, after getting my electricity bill the other day, and nearly passing out when I read it, I think I'll have one :)
