hi,

looking for a 19" rackmount 2 x TFT preview monitor.. something like OZR2701 - 2 x 7" 16/9 19" LCD rack from Teletest but with native XGA or maybe HD? I'm trying to preview 2 x XGA feeds without scaling to a lower resolution. calibration not important.. low(ish) budget community gig.

I can help, we use in our data racks some 6" LCD monitors which are good quality, reasonably priced and do XGA, we get a local metalworking company to cut apertures to mount two in a 19" blank panel, I'll dig out the supplier and get back. or you can call me on 07000 547843 ask for Brian.

OK, found it have a look on http://www.lilliputuk.com/productinfo.php?product=25 to see the monitor, although it says that it's VGA it happily resolves up to 1280 x 1024, it is a 7" monitor and is 16:9, has video input too and has a PSU and car adaptor kit. We use them as rack-mounted preview monitors running off an Extron ISS408 graphics scaler/switcher with good results.

The cost is around ( I think) £160 each. If you want to get really flash, they also do a touch-screen version!

As I said before, we have a local metalworker here who we supply with blank 19" panels and they cut the apertures to shape.

We get ours from a company who can be found on www.flyonthewall.com

Good luck, if you need any other help, give me a call!!

IIRC the Numark ones are only Comp and SVid. Not bad little monitors though, and ideal if you need a fairly cheap option. I did see several manufacutrers at a trade show in Feb that had some nice units, but RRP's were in the £500+ for one type of league.
