Johnno
I have a couple of Wotan 1003 video lights. I've no idea how old they are, I think '90s decade. Anyone know what bulbs they take? It should be a 1000W bipin with equal sized pins. I'm not sure what spacing as I forgot to measure it - silly billy! I've done a Google search on the name to no avail apart from an expired link to a sale of similar lamps.
dbuckley
The name sounds familiar, I think I had one of these, which I got from Jessops, so they may still do the bulbs.
lightsource
International lighting specialist, OSRAM, celebrates 30 successful years in South Africa. OSRAM’s history in South Africa dates back to 1971 when the company opened a sales office in Booysens, South of Johannesburg. During this time the company traded as Wotan Lamps in South Africa and in certain other Commonwealth countries as the name OSRAM was registered by G.E.C. The small operation in Booysens distributed a few imported products, mainly HID lamps, via OSRAM's parent company, Siemens. Soon automotive lamps were being assembled for the fast growing South African vehicle manufacturing industry. In 1974 the company moved to Alberton, starting production of Mercury Vapour and High Pressure Sodium lamps. A few years later in a bold move, OSRAM South Africa became the first company in the Southern Hemisphere to manufacture the slim 26mm fluorescent lamp. This was from a search on Osram's website, although there was no reference to products etc. Hope it helps
