Tourbus
What about PRG Try Neg, Fisher & Event Lighting. There Hawthorns, in Leicester, they have them and will TNT.
Barneylite2201
As we (PRG) have already nearly got every 1m mirror ball around for the EMA's (A certain person wanted 20 for a band extra!). I am up against it, already tried Negs, Bandit, Siyan, Storm. But will try Essential tomorrow, many company's have 1m / 4' ones but I need BIGGER 5' plus. Tourbus
I don't think I have even heard of a manufactured mirrorball bigger than 1M. Theres custom ones for tours like Pink Floyd (1994), but I don't know where they are thesese days. Although if I remember rightly Stagecraft custom made them for Pink Floyd, I don't know if they still would or if its the same Stagecraft. Sorry! Barneylite2201
They are out there it's just finding them. LWT have one but they do not hire it out, and Light Engineering have made 6' ones for installs but again they don't hire. I am sure someone on here will know where there's one lying in back of someones warehouse gathering dust!
NeilW
You could give David Fitch Services a go, they are based in Erith in Kent and have 52" mirror balls in their hire stock. The office number is 01322 350351. http://www.davidfitchservices.com/mirrorballs.htm HTHNeil
ed_
Try SKL in Edinburgh - they used have 2 big mirrorballs that looked around 5' in diameter...

Oh well The only thing is that claim that all their mirrorballs are nominally 4 foot diameter, so probably wouldn't suit.
Barneylite2201
Think we already have all of Fitch's large mirror balls on the EMA's but will give David a shout in the morning. Will also check with Simon Kennedy Cheers

Seano
Which is 12 inches short of 5 feet, innit. Longshot, this, probably not much use but...I worked on the Creamfields festival a few times, up until a couple of years ago, and the centrepiece of the main dance arena was always the mirrorball from the (closed down) Cream nightclub in Liverpool. It was pretty big, if I remember right about 6' in diameter.I've no idea if they still have it (and if so, what condition it'll be in), but it might be worth a phone call. There are contact details on their website.
