cknapper
Hi all Can you please help me, Im on my TT24 and There is a hiss on the system as soon as a level in entered into the Analog strip. Ive cheched all other inputs on the back and this only happens on Analog. The Hiss goes after about 3 secs it sounds like a gate has opened then closed again. Ive changed a few thing in set up and it seems to be there all the time when I Change the Input DSP to Digital. Dont really want to start messing with settings. Im not using Midi or any cards with the TT24. Ive changed the input from a Radio to a M.D and all other things but the outcome is the same a Hiss for 3 secs then a clean sound. Im using a full D&B system with D12 amps, Any help would be greatful. Cheers in Advance Carlos
Andrew C
OK, up front I've not yet used the new TT24 bought after PLASA, but just played with it a bit... There is a noise gate function that I believe may be opening when you switch on, than closes when the input is below the default of -70db. I'll look in the book... EDIT:- Have a look at:-Set up menu - Operation - Noise Threshold Seems to be an undocumented feature.
cknapper
Have a look at:-Set up menu - Operation - Noise ThresholdYep tried this and on off I hear the Hiss and on the Hiss comes when I input a level. Thought I had my amps up too much at the start but my M.D on line inputs sound perfect Carl
