Sam_Lowers
Hi, I am lighting the first college show of the year which is Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat. In our rig we have 3x Mac300. what I want to do is to be able to use the cmy facilities on them for certain effects during the show. I may not have much in the way of plotting time so what I was wondering is: Is there any way of finding out the DMX and attribute numbers to match the colours of lee gels using the internet? That way I can have someone program the desk even before the dimmers and movers are turned on. ThanksSam Louwers
Just Some Bloke
Hi Sam, I'm moving this to Lighting where it ought to be. If you'd like to PM or email me I have the information you want, just not online.
paulears
I couln't find the link, but if you downloads this excell spreadsheet. It isn't dead accurate - the subtle shades are very difficult to match exactly as DMX value 53, for example on a mac isn't the same shade as say, a Robe - but it is close enough for many puposes.HTH
andylights
Or you could have a look at the Jands Vista PC download. Patch the fixture you want, then look at the colour box and select a colour either from the fixtures colour wheel, the Lee list or CMY and RGB values.
