counter clicker

I trying to find the cheapest place to get some clickers to be able to count people into an event I'm involved with.

Any ideas?

I buy them from RS. But they're unlikely to be the cheapest.

They definitely sell them though. Just get a paper catalogue: the online one is singularly useless IMO.

CPC part number CP04060 - £2.56. Doesn't look like the most robust unit in the world, but it's very cheap...

Edit: Hmmm - looks suspiciously like this one from RS, which costs a tenner

RS online catalogue is great, as long as you know what you're looking for! In this case, I searched for "tally".

It's not so much knowing what you're looking for as knowing what RS decide to call it. I doubt I would have come up with "tally" in a thousand years.

Maybe that's why, like paulears, I don't get on with the RS online version.

Well, I only tried "tally" cos I had searched for "counter" in CPC, got about 4000 matches, drilled down through the section menus, made a couple of bad guesses, eventually clicked "recreational", and saw the picture.

So then I realised that the proper name for it was "tally counter", and stuck that into the RS search :-)

But I do prefer the paper versions of both.
