Dj Dunc Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Hi all again. Just wondering in my little absent minded brain what is the best way to case an xenyx 2442 with the minimum of price. it will not be chucked about at all, just for transport in a car. I have a budget of £50-£100. Should I buy an ordinary flight case and use a rolling shelf, or buy a custom case, or buy a pop-up mixer case. Please advise me on the possibilities, with prices if possible. As ever, all responses gratefully received :( Duncan ps does anyone know what the ideal case size (in units) is for this mixer.
mumbles Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 I have this flightcase for my UB2442 from terralec, which comes to a grand sum of £42.80 and with a couple of pounds then spent on 2 hinges, and a quick cut with a saw, it even has a folding panel at the back to access the outputs. I think from memory that the xennyx is the same size as the UB, and so should also fit fine into this.
