eamon Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Hi all I am wondering if any body here has ever found the out put from seleon aurora floods to be inconsistent. I have 14 that I use in a 3 colour wash formation on a cyc. Pretty standard use. What I have noticed for ages is the difference in output from unit to unit within a colour wash. It is getting more and more annoying with LD's starting to complain( well 1). I am wondering if anybody else has seen this? The floods are in mint condition about 5years old. All have being cleaned and serviced just recently too. This, in my opinion, is not a bulb quality issue as I have re-lamped them and notice the same conditions. My feeling is that it is due to ageing reflectors etc any thoughts I will email selecon on monday eamon
tokm Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Your guess about the ageing reflectors is probably correct, but one thing to check. Were they all purchased at the same time? Cus even if they were bought only a short time apart, there could have been a slight change made to the unit that might not be very apparent (i.e. same case, maybe slightly different insides) Ive used these floods before and haven't had any trouble with them. Just my 2 cents... Tom
