medium_dave79 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I am trying to source some oversized stationary - e.g. huge pencils, protractors, rulers for use on a float in a carnival. I'd guess as an example the rulers would have to be about 10 - 12 feet long. Does anyone have any ideas where I could source these? Thanks Dav
Jamtastic3 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Ha that reminds me of the set of Art Attack on CITV with Neil Buchanan. ......
Jivemaster Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 My old school had some "chalk board - but useable" scale geometry kit, 3 ft protractor, set squares and compasses in tbe maths dept. Can you enquire locally to you at a school? Most forms of 12 ft pencil would be too massive to control by hand for anything like writing!
WiLL Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 if big props hire companies don't have em, then you'll be making them. Although saying that, I do have a six foot fake pencil we made as set dressing once. Made from a carpet 'inner tube' thingy.
