New Consoles at ABTT

Discovered the BR by accident this morning - hi guys !

 

I missed ABTT as I had a gig in France - did anyone get a chance to play with the new Strand Palette ? Looks great but I wonder why it has no encoders.

 

AVAB here in France had the new congo baby here last week and it too looks great but has no faders !! Would be interested to hear if it performed well at the show. Apparently it uses the same software as the big congo with all the same features : could find nothing on the AVAB site tho'

 

Was that it - or did Zero / Compulite / ADB have anything in the same braket ?

 

What do strand and avab know that we dont - no encoders or faders on new boards isn't exactly what I call progress.

Don't be afraid Congo jr will have faders. They are just in the Master Fader Wing that we didn't show in finished design at the show.

As Congo jr is a true modular design with onboard processing, the user will have the choice of wings to make.

The first wing - the Master Plauback Wing - can either connect via a USB cable or be attached physically to the main unit to treat as a unified console.

Watch out for Plasa to see the shipping product unveiled.
