Fright Night (film)

Ok guys this is a bit of a wild one to ask,

I was watching Fright Night the other day ago www.imdb.com/title/tt0089175/ and was intrigued by the strange moving lights in the night club scene. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about them at all?

Unfortunately I haven't got screen caps but you can see them moving around in the film. I don't think they are VL 1's because they seem way too small in design to be, but they are definitely some form of moving head. The main unit is a cuboid shape and the yoke is positoned almost half way along the unit shaft and in the film they seem to just produce a beam of light, no gobos, just colours.
