GUSTie
Hi I am doing an outdoor gig soon and I need to know what the minimum hight I can have a box-truss sitting at is, ie can I have teh bottom of the lights at 3.5meters above the deck. it is only going to have pars on it and a couple of strobes but hight is limited due to it being in the courtyard of a grade A list building. it may also have a canopy on it as well. cheers in advance Matt edit: oops typo
gareth
You can have a truss sitting as low as you like. The only caveat is that if it's low enough to bring the truss itself, or whatever's hanging off it, into head-banging range then you need to take that into account and make sure the relevant precautions are in place.
