gonzo1
Hi all, Thicko once again! Just plugged 2 of my SGM Victory IIs in,and all the channels on my light controler have changed.Channel 1 with 1 scan was dimmer, this has now changed to channel 13ish.Everything that I learnt with 1 scan has changed. Is this right? I would like to be able to control all scans (4 eventually) all working "synchronised".You can do this cant you? Thanks Ian. DSA
I think it might be worth checking that the DMX addresses are set correctly on the scan units, and that any patch on the desk is set how you would expect.
Tomo
Do you know what address (starting channel number) you've set the scans to?I'm guessing that the scan that is different has been set to address 13ish, rather than 1. When it comes to controlling all four scans 'synchronised', the easiest way is to set them all to the same address. They will then all do exactly the same thing. You may be able to do things like inverting the pan or tilt on the scan itself so that one swings in the opposite direction to another - essentially reflected or mirrored, which usually looks better than if they all go the same way. gonzo1
I think I have followed the SGM manual correctly, scan 1 has no dip switches on and no 2 has 3+4 on. I am using a Stairville DMX Master 1.
