After the last post in here the lights for Mr Riff were worked out.

 

The Lights:

For what I think I need onstage: low amp draw, enough light to give a "lift" to a pub gig, low maintenance, long life.

It looks like the led lights are the way 'for me'. I think another big + for me is the fact that with a couple of led batons or cans placed around the stage, as well as cans on stands, It will be possible to create some ambient or mood lighting which is another help for a solo artist wanting to "pace" a show.

 

The desk:

I need to be able to pre-programme 20 or so "scenes" before hand that can be cued from the stage, Midi foot controller.

It also needs to be a desk (the above could have been done with a dedicated foot controller) so that another person could control the lights if necessary, and it needs to have the ability to allow for the growth of the light show.

anyone with similar requirements found the right desk?
