Angelfish
Hi folks, This may seem a bit of a daft question but I need to check! I'm making up a pair of projector screens for a Greek play as it needs English supertitles, and have been given projection fabric to do this. I just need to check if anyone knows if there is a specific way round the fabric is supposed to go? i.e. if a specific side of the materiel is supposed to face the projector. It's a slightly transparent grey fabric, and there seems to be no difference between the sides. Nobody I work with knows, and I'd like to check before I get too stapler-happy with it! If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks, Beki
Andrew C
No specific way round, but it does sound like rear project material. You did want that didn't you?
ThomJ
I would tend to agree it sound like rear projection material, if you want to front project it may not be reflective enough. To do both front and rear you need something like Rosco Twin White. Thom
ampcats
some screens have a visibly shinier (reflective) side when lit from a shallow angle - this goes towards the audience - if your screen has no difference, it does not matter..
