Ken Coker
Dear All Does anyone have a copy of Jean Rosenthal's "The Magic of Light" they would be prepared to lend/sell me? Thanks Ken
Rob Halliday
Hi Ken, There used to be a copy of this in the library at the University of Kent. Don't know if you can get that through some kind of inter-unversity, inter-library loan? Alternatively, as I'm sure you know, quite a lot of the book, particularly the 'Photo Essay on Light', and other information about Ms Rosenthal, can be found on the web: http://www.northern.edu/wild/jr.htm Rob. Ken Coker
Dear Rob. I have that link - thanks. Sadly(?), this being a PhD, I need to go back to the original source. There are copies at Edinburgh University and at Rose Bruford - I'd be interested to see when they were last taken out. Once I get to NTU today I'll put in an ILL request. ptheboris
Hi Ken Being an inter library loan librarian by day, there is a good chance that the British Library will have a copy as well. THese though are likely to come on microfilm so are not the easiest to read. It is also worth noting that the original university where it was submitted will most likely refer NTU to there so you might want to stipulate if you want the paper copy. kind regards Paul
Ken Coker
Dear Paul I can't find it in the BL catalogue either using the www or a remote database search via EndNote. Thanks for the tip on specifying the printed copy though. Many thanks Ken
djw1981
Amazon have some for sale (used) in the USA - not sure on shipping times. They use annoying link things so I can't link directly to the page, but visit Amazon.com, and enter title and surname of author and it gave me about 5-10 listings for about $20 plus P&P.
