SANDMAN1976
Hi guys, Ok stupid as this one sounds..... I have a synergy twin cd deck that has lost power, I have traced the "no power" right back to before the 4 diode bridge rectifier. Now for the silly sounding part........ I was an electronics student about 10 years ago and the component that seems to be stopping the power comming through is a strange package to me. Imagine if you can a standard 2amp diode size package, coated in a glossy outer and mustard yellow in colour. Even sillier . . . . . . Its reads "LF1A" which to me would be a descreet fuse..But it dont look like any descreet fuse I have seen before Can anyone identify this component from the description given? And if it is a fuse can I just replace it with a 1amp non board mounted fuse? Thanks!Adrian.
PoppaDom
Adrian, I am by no means an electrical expert but that to me sounds like a 1A Littlefuse, hence the code LF1A (Littlefuse 1A) A search of electrical components suppliers should help.... I may be wrong! Poppadom EDIT: I mean Littelfuse not littlefuse ... CONTACT HEREEDIT: Supplier of obsolete product HERE
