Pete McCrea
What size? And are you using a PC source or video source (Whether WVGA or WXGA is required). Also what is your budget? Usual bands to check are NEC, Pioneer, Panasonic etc.
Bad_Rock
Hey dj! Great to receive your help again! How's it going? Well I need something affordable ( but not super cheap ). Just a good one to be used with dvd's and computers mostly. Cheers
jim_holg8
ohoo we just got a new one last year its a 42inch made by some rather random company called Vision- most likely re-badged, I will dig out the company we got it from, It was about £1500 which was extremly good value back then! most likley gone down in price since,
Pete McCrea
Vision is Maverick's own Brand of Products (Maverick being one of the UK's main AV Distributor). The Vision brand is quite strong, and offers good products at great prices. However the shipping out to Bad Rock will be quite horrific (he's not in the UK). Bad-Rock: Decide on the screen size you need, sort out what connections you need (VGA, Composite etc), and then find the best priced product available that fits the bil. Personally I'd go with NEC, Panansonic, Pioneer, Sony or one of the other big names.
GShort
You can currently get a Philips 42" from Currys for £999. Just bought one for Arlington Arts Centre. Nice clear image and all the inputs you could want
