thelxbloke
Hi all, On Friday I have the job of converting a betapack2 that was converted from DMX to analogue previously (not by me - and the person can't remember how) back to DMX again. I have looked at the manual available on the zero88 site but can't spot it. Does anyone remember how to do this? Chears in advance Steve
Andrew C
Do you need to change anything? ISTR that the add in DMUX is parallel to the 10v control. Or am I confusing things with the original Betapack? Or, as I've just looked at a picture of Beta2 which has DMX as standard, are you confused?? si_cole
On my Betapack2's and any others I have seen the DMX and analogue co-exist and then there is a polarity switch between +ve and -ve - is this not the case with yours? Can't remember but there is a tamperproof plate you can get - not sure what that covers up though. A photo of your rack would be useful. 0059099
The Betapack here in the Dramaclassroom has only analogue in, behind tamperproof plate the desk is ready to receive a DMX kit. I pressume when this is installed the 2 coexist together.
sparkyweb
Th +/- switch is there to change the voltage for use with analogue desks. (ie Strand or Zero). The dimmer as standard will work with both DMX and analogue with no need to turn change anything. On the PCB inside, if I remember correctly, there are no jumpers or switches to change the input control. So in short to change from one method to the other either select your desk voltage or set the DMX addresses!
