Rob Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Can anyone suggest a company for doing a small order of Black polo shirts with cutom logos on the front and rear. We're only after a max of 5 shirts. I'm told that its far cheaper to get it done out of London, so if anyone can suggest a company somewhere else in the UK it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
gareth Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Funnily enough, I'm about to need an answer to exactly the same question! Watching the thread with interest ... :)
PeterT Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Depends if you want them embroidered or screen printed.Embroidery costs more because they've got to set the plates up for the stiching (or something) I had a logo embroidered on a jacket and it cost something like £40 to get it setup and only £5 for the stitching itself. Obviously the more complicated and larger the logo, the greater the cost, but once you've had that initial outlay then the cost reduces significantly for each additional shirt.Screen printing is cheaper but doesn't last as long. Again cost varies by number of colours involved and whether you have stuff on the back as well.Best bet is look in Yellow pages to get an idea of costs involved.Hope that helps. Peter
owen_mcauley Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 I have two good friends in Northern Ireland who embroider T-Shirts. If you want details contact me. Owen
Suzette Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 A friend of mine runs a small company that will happily do small orders for polo shirts etc. Contact him via email on skateruk@hotmail.com
Suzette Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Sorry, forgot to say that he is based in West London.... if that makes a difference!
dcsuk Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 I've just had all my polo shirts done and was really impressed by the company that did them. Not sure whether it would be classed as an advert for them if I posted the details so if anyone still needs the details email me and I can pass you the company details for them to you.
Jon Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 Rob, Try The Warehouse (Click Here) which supply work clothing, footwear and safety gear. They're based in my home town Abingdon which is in Oxfordshire. Whenever I've got stuff from there they're been very helpful and friendly, they always know what they're talking about and their products are really good and really cheap (My Steel toe caps were only £25 and they chucked in some free socks!) Hope that's useful...
Light Console Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 This was in the ads section of The Stage a few years ago, and I am about to contact them myself, so can't say what they are like, but look cheap! The Stitch Witch
ace Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 How about having some 'blue room' polo shirts made? Just a thought! B-)
