chris512
Hi all, Hoping someone may be able to help with this pretty simple task! Currently working with a Strand 200 series console (which I have been pleasantly surprised by) where one of the preset faders as come off from its slider. My previous experience with strand desks is that this is quite common especially with older/well used Strand LX/MX desks and popping a fader back is no problem. However this fader isn't going in very easily, and am not wanting to push to hard in order to prevent damage to the circuit board underneath. One possible thought is it appears that the base of the fader has a little adhesive which may be preventing it from popping back in? Or have strand changed the design of the fader base/slider? So any ideas or any one with experience of this on a 200 series (or I guess any of the newer Strand Desks) please seize your opportunity to share your wisdom on this rarely covered topic! Cheers Chris
gareth
Don't know what to suggest, I'm afraid, Chris - none of the faders has ever come off my 200! All I can say is that you might do well to send a quick PM to Bill Richards, our resident Strand 'guru'! (Unless he sees this topic and responds in the meantime ...)
