Adding Fixtures To Avo Visualiser

Hi all,

 

I have a show coming up involving a bunch of Showtec LED PAR64s (will report on that in the LED fixtures thread). Anyway, I probably won't get a chance to play with the lights beforehand, so I thought what better way to spend my Saturday than programming the show in Vis. The fixture isn't in the Visualiser library, so I need to add it by hand.

 

Having read all the documentation I could find from Avo on the subject, I copied the .R20 file for the fixtures into Personalities\ in the Visualiser directory, and created the file Extensions\SHLP646.VIS as shown below:

I am guessing that will probably need quite a bit of editing before it even works, but at the moment, the fixture doesn't even show up in the list in Vis (using version 7.10), and I can't figure out why.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
