swilly
Hi Guys,Can I get your help again? We are a community theatre company and have a brass band project in church venues. You gave us some great input before so am back again. We had three SHOWTEC DIMMERS from Thomann and they work fine but there was a need to buy another and as time short bought it in the UK. Set everything up and ran one spot for conductor and one spot for soloist from the new dimmer. However we could not get it to operate below level 5 then from level 5 upwards nothing but full power. We changed channels and board but without success. Did we do something wrong or have we got a faulty dimmer? Normally they are cheap, cheerful and reliable. PS. Thanks to everyone who gave us advice on lighting the band's music - every concert we have been asked where did you get those Mighty Bright Extre Flex lights from. They work! Thanks for your anticipated help and replies. :) - topic title edited to reomve capitals. CAPS = SHOUTING!
dfinn
Are you sure you havent brought the switchpack version which gives you either 0 or 100%? I think they call it a multiswitch as oppose toa multidim? Thanks, Daniel
Germaine
Check the menus you've probably got it set to switching as opposed to dimming. but it's very odd for ths to be the default
