Experience with HK Audio T Series

Hello!

 

At present my covers band (5-piece rock: 5 vox, Kit, Bass, El. Gtr., Ac. Gtr., Keys) is using a Peavey HDH3/4 system but is splitting so the poor relations need a new PA. We're playing clubs of around 250-500 people.

 

We know of an HK Audio T Series rig going - 4x 212 tops and 4x 118 woofers. We would need to buy a driverack and amps too.

 

Or...

 

Go for an active HK Deacon system. Shorter set-up times before the bingo starts etc!!

 

I notice that the T's are listed under concert sound and the Deacon under portable. Differences in quality?
