james3mc
Can anyone recommend a steeldeck hirer in the Watford area. I just need two circles 4' wide for one week for an Am Dram company who don't really have very much money to spend. Thanks
johnnymurray
try Gradav: http://www.gradav.co.uk they should be able to sort you out!
Rob
Except they don't stock Steeldeck and they don't stock circles! They have some pretty horrible decking which isn't quite as heavy as steeldeck but is a pain to carry aorund and doesn't use standard scaff legs. Steeldeck is a bit hard to come by in that neck of the woods, especially circles. I would call Steeldeck rentals in Kings Cross on 020 7833 2031 or Square One on 020 8806 9292. You could also try PSL in Potters bar on 01707 648 120. Do let us know if you discover any local sources!
ChrisD
Gradav do Alistage (it's 'orrid). However, if you want circley bits, go to alistage direct (try a google). They do circles BUT they have at least 1 van out of action at the moment, and the stage isn't actually black, it's kind of dark purple and tends to have stuff all over it. Go for steeldeck :D
Tomo
There's always Litestructures. They aren't exactly local (based in Wakefield, South Yorkshire), but they do deliver nationwide. They have various sized circles as standard - I've hired 4' radius quadrants several times. Seano
And Litedeck is really nice to handle compared to Steeldeck - way easier on the back. :)
zonino
mmmn.... litedeck, very nice to handle, and as tomo says, many different sizes! I believe they also have someone down south who they use to supply the southern regions rather than shipping it down from wakefield, but I'm not sure who (I may have made this up, but I'm 99% sure I haven't!) Russ247
They definitely have a base in London. I think it's south of the river. If you give them enough notice they can lob it on the back of a truck heading down from Wakefield to drop at their other base. It's worth going to Wakefield just to have a look at their stores as they've got some great stuff & one offs
Tom Davis
Try Kroos, wimbledon way. I think they stock this.
