I mixed the Dreamers, our sound guy mixed us and the SBJ had their own engineer. All 3 of us will happily tell you to stay away.

 

 

I dont think you will improve in that price range. Its difficult with any Behringer desk to get more for your money.

I am certainly not a fan of this board.

 

 

It could have been the limitations with everything else in the rig.

 

 

only the small eq on the desk for FOH.

NO monitor eq.

only 2 mixes.

SOUND LAB AMPS ALL ROUND.

 

ohm cabs, which made things a damn sight better considering.

behringer f1520 wedges which sans eq are AWFUL.

 

 

So to conclude. I would not have one as a gift.

but it depends on your application I suppose.

There have been plenty of threads with discussions about the mertis of 'Brand A' vs 'Brand B' vs 'Brand M' vs 'Brand S'. The last thing we need is another.

 

So, unless you have any experience of or specific comments about the desk the OP was asking about then this is not the place for them.

I have no experience of the SL3242FX-PRO but I have a bit with the SL2442FX-PRO in so much as I am in the process of sending it back for warranty repair for the 3rd time . I hasten to add the desk is not mine I wouldn't touch them with a s****y stick !!!!

THe main problem with Eurodesks in my experience is the Power Supply Unit, I've had three fail and wait for weeks for a replacement every time.
