Has anyone orderd Pyro direct from Le Maitre?

Do they charge extra for postage and how long does it normally take (I appreciate there is normally a 2 week minimum for some items which are not stocked)?

Pyro doesn't go by post. Don't try it its not legal. Pyro travels by carrier on the road. As a manufacturer Le Maitre will likely only sell to you iff you are an account holding trader. Anyway it usually takes longer to get the permissions than the pyro. There will be a supplier close to you.

Ring Le Maitre They will help you to use their product, if you demonstrate you are a skilled professional.

I know it can't be sent through the Royal Mail, I meant general sending of it.

Also Gareth, the reason I asked on here was because I knew if I emailed or called I wouldn't get an answer until Monday and I needed to know before then. Also, I ordered through a distributer once and because they forgot to send them, they had them shipped straight from Le Maitre so I guess it is a possibility.

As the Essex Le Maitre distributor I can say that Le Maitre will not deal direct but through there distribution network. Having said that they will deal direct for major projects. You may find the goods are actually delivered direct from Le Maitre depending on the particular item and stock level that the distributor has. In answer to your original question the carriage costs (postage) are generally extra but it all depends on what you are ordering and the quantities and so what sort of package price the distributor can or is willing to offer. Timescales are all dependant on stock levels. I have seen variation from next day to 3 months(this is rare)

Le Maitre charge a standard £15 for all orders, they have a large range in stock and most items are delivered next day providing you place the order before 2:00pm. Large orders can take up to 2 weeks especially orders of Flame Projectors as they have a short shelf life.

Have a look at this

They are based in Slough Berkshire, if you apply for an account however they may do some checks and ask to come and see you
