dragondiner
Hey all As part of my current unit of work at Central School of Speech and Drama, we need to interview professional chief LX's (either currently working as such, or having done so in the past) to get a better idea of what it means to be a chief LX, either in a theatre or in other areas of the entertainment industry. As such, I'd be much appreciated if anyone interested in doing such an interview (either via email or in person somewhere in London) would email me on s.hunt [at] cssd.ac.uk It'll only be about 8-10 pretty simple questions, nothing too taxing or time consuming, and I'd really appreciate any information anyone could give. Thanks for your time Sam Hunt
Tomo
Have you asked about seeing the Chief LX of your college space? Although it's likely that every single other person on the course has done so as well...
Tom
Or maybe there is a theatre nearby you could try...
dragondiner
We've basically been split up into groups, and we're all chasing up various different places, and then we'll all collate our interviews together. As you can probably tell, I'm looking around various internet forums.

PM me.

Im currently just a boring electrician. You're asking in the wrong place, then - that isn't what this topic is about. The OP is asking for people who are chief electricians and who are prepared to answer some questions for one of their college units. There are topics on the BR about how to get into the business, and if you use the search function (top-right of every forum page) you'll find them. But please make sure that you read a topic before replying to it in future, so that your reply is actually relevant.
