handyandi
Have a couple of jbl eon15 g2’s that are both exhibiting the same fault. Wonder if anyone has experienced the same fault or ideas on what it may be. Very intermittent – runs fine for anything from a few hours to days then turns off with a loud thud thro drivers then with the same thud will turn on again after 20 ish seconds. Power LED goes out also. The HF does compress slightly before it thuds. If you knock the cab will come back on early. Then may run fine for a few hours or even days. Does scare the life out of you if the unit it just sitting there!! Have investigated repair with cimple solutions etc but could turn out costly ££££ for an ex- hire unit that is only used in few occasions. Are there any other repair houses anyone could suggest? Cheers

Bad_Rock
Something similar happened to mine. Can you believe that? In my case we found out that they were over loaded.
Andrew C
BUMP! I've just had an older Eon 15" top let go. It is frying electrolytic caps in the amp, and some in the pre-amp look unhealthy. I too would be interested in finding a sensible mender...
