Hi. I have some LED Pars, but cannot find the manual. Hence I don’t know the DMX mapping or the menu config. can anyone help? The fixtures are Atomic pro 61093-2 pars, images attached (I pinched the images from a current eBay sale!). Just a photo of the DMX mapping would help. many thanks, Zulu.

Hi, All I'm starting to prepare for a production that requires 2 projections, independent images (new ground for us). It's a small Am-dram theatre, so, of course, we're working on the cheap. I've discovered Screen Monkey, which seems to fit the bill. It manages different projections by configuring layers onto different projectors. HOWEVER . . . I'm finding a significant lag between clicking the mouse, and the image/video appearing on the screen. Any thoughts? I'm using a Windows 10 laptop, pretty powerful. ALSO . . . is there any other Projection Management software out there? Screen Monkey seems to have cornered the (free) market. many thanks, Zulu

Thanks, Guys. you're right, the fixture I showed comes without lamps of either type. But outside the scope of my screenshot, it recommends use of 25W LED Dimmable GU10 bulbs. Ed, I use a Zero 88 FLX S24 desk, so I'll be looking at that link. My Dimmers are Strand ACT6, and I'm familiar with using a dummy load to control low wattage lamps. But, seeing the comments on leading edge and trailing edge dimming, I don't think this would work on these type of LED lamps. Extra question . . . Am I likely to damage my thyrister-based dimmers if I just plug the kit in, and try it? This maybe worth a look. I feel there should be a way of using modern domestic products in theatrical settings, just like we used to with filament chandeliers, wall lights, etc. Thanks, All, again

Hi, there are lots of great looking low cost domestic LED lights these days, I'm talking about ceiling lights, floor lamps, table lamps etc. I am considering using some as practicals on a theatre set, and wonder about control and dimming. My theatre currently operates a mixture of trad fixtures, controlled through dimmers to my desk, and also theatre LED lights, controlled through DMX and my desk. Question . . . Is it possible to control such domestic LED lights, which are dimmable in a domestic application with a dedicated dimmer switch, through my desk? New Question: Can anyone recommend a low end controller that can do what I need ? ie a Controller for LED fixtures (6 ish channels), with a "Theatre" style stack of scenes (cues), advanced on the press of a button, with an adjustable fade (transition) time between cues .

Hi, all. wonder if anyone can help. I have a traditional small theatre set up: Traditional fixtures, 4 x 6 Dimmers, and a 24 channel Zero88 desk. I also have a Chauvet Obey 40 DMX controller, never used. Thinking of trying a bit of LED lighting, particularly for interesting lighting changes to the cyclorama. (In parallel to my usual stage lighting) Question: Can I program my Chauvet Obey 40 in the "Theatre" style of a stack of scenes (cues), advanced on the press of a button, with an adjustable fade (transition) time between cues ? Reading the manual it seems that fade times can only be set for transitions between steps within a chase, but not for transitions between scenes. Surely not !! Any thoughts appreciated. cheers, Zulu.
