Would probably be better not rigged sideways 😉
True. I have no connection with the rigging, I was visiting and operating for a concert. The others are all nearer to horizontal.

Another xibo user here - we have >100 screens running on it.
For scheduling & user input selection - I'd look at an Extron button panel - you can get MLC 104 / 226s on ebay frequently which will do the job if your screen has an RS-232 control port.

Secondhand DMP64s show up on eBay a fair bit, very cheap. Brand new they're not a million miles off the QSC Nano, though.
They won't be the plus model though, and don't have the playback or Danté.

Would an Extron DMP 64 Plus do the job? Danté interface, onboard audio players, and GPIO that could control your amp channels.
Also beware Danté won't cross subnets without Danté Domain Manager.

Coretronic is Optoma's parent brand. Can't help with suppliers for parts I'm afraid though.

Just found Extron Elink 100 (https://www.extron.com/product/elink100). Shall keep looking.
See also Kramer KW-14. I don't know who actually makes it (I suspect not either of them, as it's not their usual form factor).

I'm surprised there is no ready-made wireless solution for this, but there we are.
There's the Neutrik Xirium Pro system. It's a bit of a step up in price from your box of cat5...

I'm looking at OBS / Teams(Zoom) to do a school open event. However, Zoom can't get the audio from OBS. It can 'see' the virtual camera but will only see the usual audio inputs, i.e. the PC's mic, line in etc.
I can easily use an external mic, but part of the presentation is a video clip with sound that I would run via OBS - but can't get the sound from the video to Zoom, only the pictures!
Am I missing something or is just that Zoom/Teams was only ever intended to be used with a blurry tinny onboard webcam/phone camera??
I think VB Audio Virtual Cable will do what you need. I've installed it but haven't finished testing yet, so can't confirm.

Not sure how big your hook is, but would a unicol trim disc work?

Technical Stage Services might be interested.

There's at least 2 companies on that list that also have eventing arms, so should be able to sort you out.

Hi Jon,
As a University, you should have access to one of the HE purchasing consortia framework contracts, which will have a list of suppliers for you to go to. I think it's NWUPC in your case so these people.

Have a look at the Extron mtp stuff- comes up on an auction site for little money and if you get the right receivers you can loop through them which might simplify cabling?

The signal generator from a tone probe set will make the speakers sound. That wasn't what I was expecting to happen when I tried to trace some speaker cabling in our library....
