    We repair X32 desks of all types and have all the parts and modules in stock ready to ship 

    However Everything is repairable in these desks

    We turn around power supplies normally same day for less than £50.

    We Like "Green" customers who don't just want to swap out parts and wreck perfectly good consoles gutting them for parts.

    What to do with old lighting equipment

    Well I am saddened that the worlds largest and only super store of used kit has not struck the Blue room members yet.

    We buy up kit and Recycle every part!

    If we cant sell it at our silly stupid cheap prices (plugs sockets hook clamps all 15p each!! yes 15 pence)

    we will strip down lanterns to remove glass, cables bulbs cables etc. as green as possible! and very time consuming!

    more modern stuff gets fixed and even offered with warranty and worldwide shipping.

    All with super easy addons like what plug you want fitted etc.

    Our average sale time for a product is less than 3 days! the turnover of stock is massive

    And to add to that we generate over 60% of our own electric, put less than 10kg of waste in landfill each week and do not purchase any packing materials! its All Reused! 

    The most difficult part of the whole process is to get the theatres and owners of kit to make a very small effort to box it, email us back etc. You would be amazed How people just cant be bothered! they would rather let it sit and rust until it is then really scrap! everyone just replaces the new kit and shifts the old to the basement!

     

    So apart from this being a plug for our website hopefully it might help save the planet just a little!

    parcan 1000w lamps CP62 and the like

    Clearly not many need to buy tungsten parcan lamps in recent years as their use is massively in decline. 

    So as as expected the price rises. but wow google shopping shows prices well above £30 per lamp and some price into £65 per lamp.

    Feels like going back to the days when you put a raylight adaptor in so you could use a t26 lamp as a cost saving method.

    What I find interesting is we sell used nice Thomas parcans with lamp, parsafe, plug, clamp, gel frame for less than £7! 

    So is anyone buying brand new lamps?

    surely some of the big rock and roll hire companies and many small to medium sized theatres in the country are running 20 to 40 pars in their rigs, they must still be buying more than 10 lamps a year?

    20 Hours per week

     

    Salary £20k for 20 hours (equivalent to £40k pro rata)

    shifts will be mostly 2 x 10 hour days per week with some weekend work and unsociable hours.

     

    Duties will be mostly warehouse based:

    prepping kit in and out

    cable making

    manufacturing, metalwork folding, drilling, pcb population

    tea making

    repairs

    pat testing

    van loading

    boxing up sales orders and dispatch

    booking couriers

    warehouse maintenance painting, cleaning etc

     

    Rotas will be published 6 weeks in advance. Option to have some time of in lieu and for max 3 consecutive weeks off during quieter periods. Overtime also available.

     

    This role will suit someone wanting to keep some freelance work under their belt but with an impressive salary on offer for the right person.

    The right candidate will be a self starter with a good background of practical skills.

    Driving Licence essential
