  1. We are VideoBooth Systems, pioneers in video and photo event technology since 2005. We're a small team helping to create big ideas for clients including Disney, Google, Ray-Ban, Nike, Alton Towers and more. We are a welcoming, collaborative team looking to expand with a new event technician to join us. From our Kent office we deliver projects throughout the UK and around the globe, from events and exhibitions, to theme parks and museums. Live events can mean long hours, with early starts, late nights and work at the weekends so a positive, professional, flexible and good humoured attitude is essential, alongside a passion for delivering excellent service. Role Delivering and setting up a range of different Video Booth and AV equipment at locations around the UK and occasionally internationally. Preparing and specifying equipment and managing a small warehouse of hire and sales equipment. Liaising with clients, suppliers, colleagues and venues in preparation for new projects. Providing technical support and training to clients on-site and by phone and email. Due to the nature of the events industry, working hours will often include evenings and weekends, with some overnight stays. Flexibility is key. Managing onsite logistics which may include freelance crew on occasion. What you’ll need… Great people skills - personable, professional and confident when dealing with clients. You'll be the face of our company on-site. Self motivated with good organisational skills, attention to detail and proactive attitude. A keen interest in, and understanding of technology hardware and software. Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment. Good level of general computing skills. UK Manual Driving License (with no more than 3 points) and comfortable driving a large transit sized van. Experience in the event or AV industry would be advantageous but isn’t essential. Fluent spoken and written English. Right to work in the uk. Due to the nature of some projects a valid passport, full vaccination certificate and DBS check will be required. Location A large part of this role will be travelling to events and client’s premises, throughout the UK and occasionally internationally. When not travelling you’ll be based at our modern office and warehouse facility located next to the Dartford Crossing in Kent, just a few minutes from Bluewater shopping centre. What we can offer you 32 days holiday a year (inclusive of bank holidays) - this usually includes a long break over the Christmas and new year period. Opportunity for an annual bonus based on company performance. Opportunity to take time off in lieu on completion of additional hours (as agreed). Informal, friendly office environment with free drinks and snacks. Potential travel to exciting places (our technicians have worked in Hong Kong, Hawaii, Indonesia, China, Japan and throughout Europe to name a few). Salary range of £24,000.00 - £30,000.00 per year depending on experience. How to apply If you’d like to join us simply get in touch with your CV and a covering letter telling us why you’d like to apply for the role. The first round of interviews will be online using Google Meet. Second round interviews will take place at our Dartford office. kirsty@videoboothsystems.com Strictly no recruiters or agencies please.
