The Royal Spa Centre are looking for a skilled and motivated lighting and sound technician to join our friendly Technical team.
Technical experience in a live entertainment venue is essential. With the role involving the use of lighting, sound, stage management, AV and flying systems. Working closely with the Technical Manager and Technical Supervisor, the technicians assist and support our diverse range of incoming shows, run cinema screenings and contribute to the day-to-day running of the department and its assets.
At the heart of Leamington Spa, the theatre complex is owned and operated by an ambitious local authority, who are working hard to raise Leamington Spa’s cultural profile. The venue incorporates a busy main auditorium and studio theatre, both of which are used to stage a diverse programme of professional shows, which includes our highly acclaimed annual pantomime. The Royal Space Centre has a commitment to community events and welcomes amateur productions and private events.
Technicians are based at The Royal Spa Centre with staff, on occasion, being deployed to facilitate events at the Town Hall and Leamington Art Gallery & Museum, to support a wide variety of events and openings throughout the year.
