  1. we use Lintec antennas, both directional dipoles and Yagi. The dipoles are constructed within plastic tubes with all ends sealed, and come either with a coax tail or a base mounted BNC. We run senny G3 300 and 500 evo racks and find the antenna excellent for a lot of long range outdoor work. Some are now 15 years old and I've yet to notice any corrosion after much rain - albeit rarely costal locations.

looks interesting, will look into this thanks

  2. awesome thanks, will try Transplan and Radio Structures.

Ian Hickling at Transplan UK should be able to sort you out. He specialises in RF antennae and radio systems, and does a lot of work with community broadcasters throughout the UK - many of which use custom antennae systems. I spoke to him earlier, and he says to drop him a line. ian@transplanuk.com

Thanks for mentioning it to him, I've dropped him a line tonight.

  3. Hi all,

We run 8 Sennheiser G300 mics here at Minack and have used 1031 paddles but the salt air attacks them and they don't last a season. Anybody out there have a better outdoor solution?

    Thanks, Simon
