  1. This is exactly how I thought it should work. And how I have found it to work in the past. That is not what is happening though. The playback (using your naming convention) would be 9.20. Then when the page is changed and 1.20 is to to used, they are brought down with the bringing down of the fader 20 back to 0 The playback manages a selection of up lights and work lights that I am told need to be left on whenever the space is in use. Ive never used independents so thats a good shout that I can look into, thank you for the suggestion!
  2. Thank you for your reply, Im not sure how I would do this. Ive not used a Colorsource desk in years, and I think this one hasn't been kept up to date. They are reticent to update as it is part of a complicated AV setup in an event hall. I am the only Tech with any lighting experience.
  3. If you could that would be really helpful, thank you. Just to note though, I'm not sure that is the issue. Before I started the fixtures were just left on the playback, and fader 20 was never used. After having a look, and testing I wasn't able to get the playback to stay on with any fixture. The process I used that I think should have worked was Delete Playbacks 20 & 180 Record fixtures 51-62 with intensity @100% onto Playback 180 (Playback page 9, Fader 20) leave Playback 180@FL Change page to PG1 Bring down fader before new look is recorded - at this point, Playback 180 (Playback page 9 fader 20) is brought down in line with the fader while still on playback page 1 Hope that makes sense!
  4. HI all, I'm looking for some advice. Ive started a new job in January and they have a ETC Colorsource AV in place in one venue. Currently, the physical faders on the desk can be used for the channels and for the playbacks. A playback look is set for submaster 20 on page 9 (Playback 180) that they want to be active all the time. When the page is changed and I want to use fader 20 on any other page it brings down playback 180 aswell. I've used a number of desks that use a group of physical faders to control multiple layers/area's but don't think that I have ever had this issue. Any advice on either how to fix this, or how to control the a look in such a way that it can be excluded from the physical fader controls? Any insight would be appreciated
  5. That would be me. The issue is that the DMX profile on the desk is based on an updated firmware. Edward sent me a new profile for the desk in less than 15 minutes and it worked perfectly. I have yet to hear from ADJ with a fixture firmware update. thanks for the responses, they were all things I hadnt thought to check.
  6. Thanks for the reply. Thats exactly what I mean, yes. Its a Zero 88 FLX S48. Ive been hunting through the manusals for both pieces of kit, and checking the change logs and I think the issue might be that the fixture firmware is out of date. But I cant get a response from ADJ with the newest version of the firmware which seems like the only way to access it.
  7. Hi All, I have a set of ADJ Focus wash 400 movers that I cant get working. Desk is updated to the newest software and fixture library. It pans and tilts, and the motorised lens will focus, but non of the LEDs will fire up. They work, Ive checked the leds manually on the fixture itself. I have tried the 3 DMX modes (basic, standard & extended) Any Advice?
