    X32 Problem

I have just repaired this one for the rack version, if anyones needs any repaired even just as a spare... 3rd of these I’ve been asked to repair, seems to be a common failure point and they are of the age for it... lost count of the smps’s I’ve repaired 🤓
  3. Was some of the worst I’d seen too, that CE mark is supposed to guarantee there is never an actual fire - they need to look at that then... smps for these were blowing fuses, no surprise as still wet from fluid but the damage was already done and not related to the burnt driver pcb units as smps were fine but I also use preventative measures while repairing these now as I’ve seen the track damage. could have been prevented from preventative servicing or even better design in the first place but who wants a reliable product to last 5yrs these days... 🤷‍♂️🤓 I’m also working on some charpy copies, 5 bad smps in first month of use 🤣
  4. Way ahead of you, had loads of these in last year, I deemed 5 barely repairable but never reliable again (carbon) so not cost effective but repaired 11 units fully including led, display pcbs and smps. it’s common in many units that used the design with fan in middle of pcb like legend range for instance and several other chinese fixtures. some could have been prevented by preventative maintenance but you only see the bad unit when its too late as people don’t like paying extra if it’s not necessary.... catch 22 🤷‍♂️
  5. Never had a schematic and I’ve fixed 100’s of them, if he can’t fix it...
  6. Hi I can repair the pcb cheaper than replacing it
  7. Hi I might have a spare, I do repair these and often works out cheaper to fix than replace, what’s the fault?
  8. I have loads of parts for all robocolours,
  9. Not worried about reliability until you have an unreliable and unsupported desk... buy a real one and save yourself future problems I have had over 20yrs use from a real avo pearl with hardly any problems
  10. Cheers steve ? Unlikely to be belts, you can see if theres damage to them If it’s losing position it’s more likely the optical wheel isn’t fixed anymore or you have a problem with the sensor/ wiring...
