rocky700
I have been trying to make the video project from my iPad to a projector screen but that is not happening. I have also tried to use the app of the projector but that also did not help. I really wanted to know how would I make that possible. I do my work only on my iPad. I have also contacted *redacted* for this but that also wasn't that good. Moderation: Potentially spammy link removed
David Lee
Usually use Apple TV and cast it across to projector.
Joe Fernand
As above an Apple TV or Mac Mini connected to the Projector and use AirPlay - https://www.apple.com/airplay/ Joe
ninjadingle
Can you tell us more about what "isn't happening"? Is the projector not recognising an input? Showing a blank screen? Showing a green screen? Also - how are you connecting? VGA? HDMI? Wireless?
MarkPAman
For older iPads, 30 pin > VGA adaptor cables exist.
ninjadingle
As they do for Lightning devices - I have a Lightning to VGA and Lighting to HDMI in my toolbag to test systems quickly with an iPhone. Wondering if this is more of Apples lovely HDCP implementation rules, it crops up occasionally on our iPhone tests.
Stuart91
One other possibility is that many (all?) recent iPads will default to 1080p output, on HDMI at least, with no way to change it. If there's anything in the signal chain that won't cope with that, it's not going to work. We recently had a client whose iPad wouldn't work but a laptop was fine. Turned out the laptop was set to 720p, iPad was 1080p. They were using a set of CAT5 senders that were close to their advertised limit on cable length.
