Unfortunatly I am not working in the industry at the moment. I am trying to work out whether or not it is better to go to uni and get a qualification in technical theatre/live event tech etc. or to get into to somewhere local and build up my practical experience. Have been involved on a few local performances in recent years but it's set to get better over the next two. I am involved in a project called Killiow 2008 (http://www.camelliamc.co.uk/) which will be held in Cornwall in sept 2008. It's set to be the biggest multiformat music event that has been held in the Southwest!! Hopefully will provide me with a wealth of valuable experience and help braoden my knowledge base. As well as that in a followup to a production of Return to the Forbidden Planet that i was involved in at the Keay Theatre in St. Austell, we will be taking it to the Hall For Cornwall. Again having the opportunity to work in a professional theatre will be both a pleasure and a great way of learning new skills.
