Such a shame that I missed this, would love to have come and have a nose about. So while we are talking about old equipment, I have a garage full of kit that was purchased in the 80's and 90's obviously well out of date now and superseded many times. Most of it still works but what do I do with it all, sound desks, racked amps, FX lighting even a working old Pulsar Masterpiece. Loads of Martin kit - I really don't want to scrap it but I need my garage back.. Anyone got any ideas that are printable ?

Please stop laughing, yes, we still have a working pair of VL1000's which are beginning to play up, Does anyone know of somewhere that would perform a full service and if necessary - repair. We're based in the big toe of England (Cornwall) and have no Vari-Lite agents (that I know of) . Also any suggestions as to LED replacements for these VL's.. One day..... rgds Chris

I have been tasked with a partial replacement of our theatres 1200W Selecon PC's and Fresnels to LED equivalents. Anyone out there had any experience or have any recommendations for these fixtures.. Also Have been authorised to spend £2K to buy 8 LED Par Cans that can be used for music gigs (tight beam) or corporate events (large washes) - I want either replacement lenses or zoomableLong throwVivid colourequivalent or more output than CP62Am hoping to go to PLASA for a nose about but any guidance beforehand would be appreciated Chris Theatre Tech
