Shure ULXS4 Power Connector

You need a 15 volt DC power supply, with around 550mA output - connected to a locking ring type DC connector, pin size 2.1mm and outer barrel size 5.5mm (very standard fortunately).

Positive to the centre pin and negative to the outer.

Thanks,

turns out it's the chassis socket which was causing the problem. The wiping side contact had been bent and pushed towards the far end of the socket. All I need to do now is find the right part to replace it. I could fit any old 2.1x5.5 socket (I have those on the shelf) but I'd like to keep the unit as close to factory standard as possible.
