  1. I have a pair of Viking 1218 18 Wireless battery powered LED uplighters for sale. £150 for the pairThese retail at £299 + VAT each and I am selling the pair of them in full working order plus an extra as spare. They are a few years old and show some signs of use. I just charged them and tested them I ran them on a self test cycle that uses all colours at full brightness and they ran for just ovver 8 hours. They will take a DMX input and both Avolites and ChamSys have profile for them. They also work via wireless and the units have recievers built in and I include the transmitter as shown. There is a third unit that works but will not hold a charge. I included this as it might be useful for spares.Any questions please ask. Collection from Peasedown St John near Bath, or I can deliver for free locally. http://ice9.uk/lights/vk8.jpg more pictures here Full details here at Viking site.

  3. Thanks for this, some interesting suggestions.CheersJames
  4. I am designing a little installation for an arts center and would love to use some of the little S4 profiles. But being ETC they are v expensive and I would be happy with a cheaper version that sort of look the same. Is there anything out there that you are aware of?
  5. Ah, okay, could be, the Powercube does have that ca[ability I think.
  6. Had a weird issue last night. Three of the dimmer channels would not dim, they just went to full. Reset the cube to factory defaults a couple of times. Didn't do anything. Eventually just powered it down and on again, then it was okay. Display showed that it thought the input ramped with fader, but dimmer had other ideas. Never seen this before.
  7. I thought the title was dynamite control with DMX. I was really interested for a bit.
  8. Have a look at the DrayTek Vigor 2926 https://www.broadban...ytek-v2926ac-k/ Extremely capable, and massively manageable if you want to.
  9. Wybron Autopilot seemed like a great idea. Have performer wear a transmitter - get that to send XY coordinates to light. I never used it, or saw it in action as far as I know. It seemed way ahead of its time and certainly very much predated the ubiquitous use of moving lights that we have now.But even if the following part was accurate, which seems in doubt, there are other variables and offsets that need to be calculated. The software needs to know the height of the performer and the angle of the beam in relation to them. But thats just trigonometry really. These days lighting desks are actually working as 3D spaces so it must be doable.
  10. Dear I want as questions about panasonic mx70 will you give me time so I can chat with you and share with you my problem regarding mx 70?
