--for a interactive training suport program on how to use your fat frog effectivly why not look at my frog training program available from the frog training website--

Sam,

I'm interested in this training, as I lhave a frog in a school, and it could be of use with the kids, I cannot get it to work however. I suspect it is in some non standard format that only Internet explorer uses? I don't have access to this at home, any advice?

Same here, insted of the HTML page at http://www.frogtraining.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/theprogram.htm I get a .gif file.

I've fished through the html and found a direct link the to presentation, but be warned it first off complains that it needs Internet Explorer and a number of pages do not render properly.

I am aware of some compatibility issues with certain browsers

Certain browsers?! You mean every browser with the exception of IE!

Let me ask you a question - if you published your Frog training program as a book, would you publish it in such a way that people needed to wear a certain type of spectacles in order to be able to read it? Or would you publish it in such a way that it can be read by everyone? :(

As I am aware it onlyworks on Netscape Navigator and IE. If I had the technical expertise to change this then I would but unfortunetly I don't.

Like I said If you want it on disk please let me know.

what did you design the site in? It is probably because of all the non-standered pictures and the fact that the text is all gifs, did you create the website in a dtp package such as publisher, or word? Also instead of using power point for the online version how about creating it as a pdf, if you cant do this then e-mail it to me (PM me for best addres) and I will make it a pdf and send it back. Also if you wish I will (in a while when I have less school work) help you re-design the site.

Also this seems to be drifting a little :(

It seems to work ok in Safari on the Mac

Good point, it also mostly works on Konqueror on Linux (as safari is based on Konqueror that should follow!)

Sam, I'd be interested in it on a disk. One fairly easy way to fix this would be to open the powerpoint file in OpenOffice where it can be exported to HTML (in a way that is much more browser friendly), or directly to PDF and even as a Flash file. OpenOffice is a free download but at ~65MB you will need a fast connection.

If you were interested in this route I could send you OpenOffice on a disk? I encourage everyone to look at OpenOffice especially for it's drawing module that I find to be very useful with it's ability to export direct to PDF.

Moderation: Topic split as it was getting far too off-topic in the previous thread!

And for what it's worth, Opera 7.23 doesn't like it.
