Venue Technician required

Salary £25,000

The Harlington is a multi-purpose entertainment venue in Hampshire operated by Fleet Town Council, which offers a programme of live events focusing heavily on music and comedy, with a little theatre thrown in! The emphasis is on creating an exciting atmosphere for our visitors. We like to think that we're just a little bit different to the rest! The Harlington is currently a flat floor venue with the ability to work in a variety of formats – cabaret, theatre or fully standing concert for up to 500 people. In addition, we also run events and hire out rooms for a variety of different activities and classes. The Harlington has a café which is open 6 days a week and two bars which open for performances and functions.

We're working towards an exciting and ambitious period in our growth with a multi-million pound refurbishment being planned. The right person will have experience within a live venue environment, but also the ability to think on their feet, solve issues quickly, have an eye for detail, be fantastic with people and a friendly and engaging personality.

Hours: Average of 37.5 per week, which can vary on different weeks depending on number of performances. You will be required to work a mix of daytime, evening, weekend or occasional Bank Holidays on a shift rota basis.
