themadhippy
A 50-50 mix of white vinegar and distilled water ,then a flush with just distilled water works well, but do it outside and dont be surprised if you get a sudden craving for some chips. timsabre
Martin / Jem do sell a proper cleaning fluid "Pro Clean Supreme" if you want to keep with the manufacturer's recommendations. Can't comment on if it works any better than water or vinegar. They now recommend that you pump this fluid through if the machine is not going to be used for a while and leave it in. https://www.martin.com/en-US/products/pro-clean-supreme-fluid
alistermorton
That seems to be discontinued, though.
timsabre
So it does. They seem to have changed the name but I suspect it is the same thing. They are trying to push for it to be used while machines are in storage as it helps to reduce clogging of the heater block, supposedly. https://www.martin.com/en-US/products/martin-pro-clean-and-storage-fluid
the kid
Martin have been changing the names a few times recently. its got a bit confusing. But +1 for distilled water and or vinegar.
savage1
After many years of servicing various smokers and hazers I have to admit I had no idea Martin actually made a cleaning fluid.... Needless to say I am also in the distilled water camp.
