After a difficult year for the industry, Summer Screens has a full event calendar booked for 2021. Alongside the established cinema business, the company is expanding its event portfolio into other sectors within the experience economy and with this in mind, Summer Screens is currently looking to recruit Production Engineers to join the team. Production Engineer (fixed term contract) You will be responsible for preparing equipment for the event at our warehouse in Reading and ensuring they have everything they require for the event. The Production Engineer will take the lead in the setup of the AV, sound, lighting and power distribution at the event, meeting all the H&S requirements set out in the company policies and RAMS. You will work closely with the Event Manager and colleagues to deliver the event to the highest possible standards and offering a fantastic experience for the audience. The successful candidate will be managing the onsite delivery of events and any additional technical crew, working closely with the front of house team and other colleagues.
