ENTERTAINMENT TECHNICIAN - IMMEDIATE VACANCY - FULL TIME - NORFOLK

 

We have an immediate vacancy for a full time entertainment technican at our five star award winning holiday park in Norfolk. Salary will be £380 for a standard working week.

 

Accommodation, a daily meal voucher, gym and pool access are all included free of charge as part of the position.

 

The role will suit a technician capable of operating ChamSys MQ series and a Yamaha digital sound desk.

 

You will be the technical support element for a team of five perfomers. Due to the nature of the role there will be an expecation that you will assist in some of the daytime activities however the majority of your working week will be operation and upkeep of the technical venues.

 

The role includes but is not limited to:

 

Overseeing the day to day running of the venues.

Liaising with all incoming artistes as to their stage requirements in order to facilitate a smooth presentation of the production.

Efficient maintenance and operation of all theatre stage equipment.

Contribution as required to the development of the Production Shows and other events.

To manage all aspects of the backstage facilities, including maintenance, during running and production periods as well as performance.

To maintain the stock of stage consumables and hardware and be responsible for the ordering of materials.

To ensure that all persons working in the venues abide by Health and Safety Policies.

To monitor and uphold high standards of technical support and customer service within the venues.

To ensure that the cleanliness and tidiness of all backstage areas are maintained at a high standard at all times.

To carry out risk assessments and reviews on a regular basis.

To report any potential problems with regard to any of the stage and mechanical equipment at the earliest possibility to the Entertainment Manager.

To ensure that all employees using equipment and machinery are properly trained in their correct usage and that appropriate Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.

Other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required by the Entertainment Manager.
