  1. Hi I am having quite a few issues with my set of new trantec s4.16's. The company that sold them to me has sent out mics with TA4F connectors when the belt packs are 3.5 mm locking mini-jacks. As I need the mics working as soon as possible I decideed to just buy some shure TA4F to senheiser mini-jack cables and over night them, however I am not able to get any audio out of them. The mic XLRs have pin 1 to shield, pin 3 to core, pin 4 to pin 3 and pin 2 to pin 4 through a little smt capacitor. The adapters are pin 1 to sleeve and ring, pin 2 to tip, pin 3 to pin one and pin 4 not connected. I read that senheiser and trantec use the same mini-jack connectors but I have not been able to find an official wiring diagram for trantec. I took the case off of a belt pack and it looks like only sleeve and tip are connected with tip having a voltage on it. I would prefer to rewire the adapters to save possible damage to the mics so can anyone work out how I need to re-solder them? Many thanks
