Live Recorded Multitrack Files

Hi All,

I have remixed all of my personal multitracks so far and I am looking at hopefully finding a source for new ones.

All the sources I have found online are mostly of recordings done cleanly in a studio. I'm after live recordings with all the spill and close mic'ing that comes with it.

They won't be released or re-recorded for distribution. Only used for personal development.

Are there any sources around online?

If they really will be only used for private stuff and experimenting with and not distributed, I can possibly help - drop me a PM and we can chat.

The problem really nowadays is that people are very protective about their stuff. I got sent some live stuff to re-mix, and very clearly they'd tried to fix the pitch of the singers and the fretless bass, but the spill made doing this so obvious. They swore blind they had not pitch shifted anything, but trying to fix this is good experience I think. I've actually still got the recording I did live of a chart band from the 70s, and recorded in the early 2000s it was so bad we aborted the project as unfixable!

We had to abandon an orchestral recording because the conductor bellowed his way through all the songs, and bled into most of the mics. If he'd been within any sort of range of the correct notes, it might have been salvageable...

Thanks for your reply.

To anyone else. I have a few decent recordings myself that I can probably privately share over DM if it's for personal development in exchange for any other recordings. Most of mine are recorded on a CL/QL system or X32 into Tracks Live.
